Out of state 1099

I live in Florida where I work a full time job where I receive a W2. I also do home work at night for a company based in South Carolina. They send me a 1099-MISC. Since I live in Florida, do I have to calculate South Carolina State taxes since the company is out of SC? Or since I am doing the work in a Florida, which has NO state tax, I do not pay state tax on this?

If I do have to pay SC state tax, how do I calculate this?

No, you do not have to pay SC state tax on this. You only have to pay taxes in the state where the income was sourced....or earned.

However, be aware that Florida does require a business property tax return (that imposes a tax based on the value of your business equipment.
