Multiple 1099-c forms

I have two 1099-c forms from two different creditors. TurboTax software only allows for one entry for a 1099-c. Should I just add the total of both forms for a final amount of debt discharge?

Yes, if you have more than one 1099-C, add the numbers from each one together and enter the totals in TurboTax using the instructions below.

Open (continue) your return.

  1. In the search box, search for 1099-C (upper- or lower-case, with or without the dash) and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results.
  2. Select the type of cancelled debt (main home or other) and then click Continue.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter information from your 1099-C form.
