Maryland Pension Exclusion

I just finished my Federal and State return on Premier. I ran Smart Check and ultimately there were no errors found. I went to review Maryland's page by page and the $34,300 pension exclusion was not included on my return. I went back and looked at the page "How Maryland handles these things differently" and I could not find an item that would allow me to include the allowable pension exclusion amount prior to sending it in electronically. What specific steps do I need to do to get closure on my taxes?

Your pension exclusion is probably calculated automatically and reported on that Maryland input screen ("Here's the income that Maryland handles differently").

NOTE: Your pension is reduced by your total Social Security or Railroad Retirement, so if you also on Social Security, you will not receive the entire 34,300 exclusion, or perhaps no exclusion at all.

Please see the "PENSION EXCLUSION COMPUTATION WORKSHEET (13A)" in the middle of page 6 in the Maryland Instructions.
