I am a retired engineer - can I still deduct technical publications & subscriptions?

I am receiving IEEE publications as a retired engineer. I was able to deduct my subscription to IEEE publications when I was actively working. Can I deduct them now that I am retired?

No, unfortunately, when you were working, your professional publications were considered a deductible employee business expense, or a qualified business expense if you were self employed.

Now that you are retired, your publications are no longer deductible.
