In 2024 I was collecting SSA benefits. I rescinded my application within the first 12 months and repaid the benefits I received. Since I hadn't received confirmation or a corrected SSA-1099 before I filed my 2024 taxes, I included the SSA income on my 2024 tax return. I've now received an corrected SSA-1099 that shows $0 in the Net Benefits, Box 5. Can I just go into TurboTax online, amend the return, and update the Box 5 with $0, and submit?
