Form 1099-R

I received a 1099-R with code 'G' in box 7.  There are no other entries on that form.  These funds went directly from a Schwab 401(k) to a Hancock 401(k) with no stops in between; certainly not by me.  After entering the required information into TurboTax, which seems to be more IRA than 401(k), my income was increased by the amount in box 1.  I was never in receipt of this money.  It's not income.  Why is it being reported as such.

Code G is a direct rollover and not taxable.

If you are looking at a summary screen or review screen those show the full amount as income and lump a lot of stuff together. You need to check the actual 1040 form and make sure it's right.

If you rolled it over it should say Rollover to the left of the taxable amount on 4b or 5b.

For Online, You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return

The Form 1099-R from Schwab should have had a zero in box 2a.  Enter a zero in box 2a of TurboTax's 1099-R form.
