As a Canadian spouse receiving Social Security based on spousal benefits, and living in Canada, do I even file USA taxes? SS have issued me a SS number based on these benefits; Is the IRA expecting me to file something? A form?

If you are not a US citizen and you do not have any other income in the US, then you are not required to file a US tax return.
