Do I need to report SDI benefits?

I received disability benefits when I went on maternity leave.  I did not receive any tax documents.  Do I need to report this?

State disability benefits are generally not taxable.

They are only taxable if they are paid as a substitute for unemployment benefits. In this case, you would receive a form 1099-G.

If you did not receive any tax form, then your SDI benefits are not taxble and are not reported on your tax return.
