2025 Software not functional

I paid for and downloaded this year's TT.  Opened it up to do a prediction on where I am before Jan 1 so I can finalize IRA distributions and estimated tax payment plan for 2025.  But whole sections of the software are not yet functional.

Does anyone know when this will be working, hopefully before the end of 2025?

Thanks,

Bill Greggs

No one knows for sure.
EVERY YEAR, any of the software issued before January is essentially beta stuff that many of us won't touch until sometime in January.  Certainly, some of the sections may become useful by mid-December, but they don't really tell us when that happens.

There is a master list of Fed and State forms, and expected dates here:  Intuit App

BUT

For testing, You are far better off using the prior year (2024 ) desktop software.....using the "What-IF" worksheet.

In the 2024 desktop software's What-If worksheet, You transfer your 2024 data into a 2025 column on that worksheet, then change whatever numbers you expect to be different in the 2025 column.....and try various new IRA distribution numbers in the retirement income area

You can make the necessary estimated 1099-R entries in forms mode of the desktop version of TurboTax.
