1099R non-qualified pension Plan

The TurboTax Review process is requiring me to select either 403b or a Qualified Plan, when my 1099R from the Defense Accounting Office annuitant pay is neither one. How do I fix this so I can file?

You are reporting a pension from the Defense Department.

In TurboTax Online, at the screen Who gave you a 1099-R, did you select Financial institution or other provider?

If I select Financial Institution or other provider, at the screen Where is your distribution from?, I am able to select Military retirement or military survivor's benefit.

At the screen What kind of retirement plan do you have, I am able to select Non-qualified plan.

Not sure selecting OPM as the payer is correct.  Military retirement is paid by Defense Finance and Accounting Service for military personnel.  OPM governs civil service.  I believe Turbo Tax may have an internal software problem.  I am experiencing the same problem.  Never experienced this in prior years with TT. I've seen other posts raising the same issue.

I ended up calling TT Customer Service.   The Customer Rep after quite a bit of time admitted it's a software glitch on their end.   THe call took 2+ hours, including working with one of their Technical support staff.   In the end they did something to my return to get it past the "Review", and promised before transmitting it to the IRS, that it would be fixed !   Then a most unpleasant surprise...... they then charged me the full price for the Live Assisted income tax return !  Almost immediately I then received a notice that the tax return was successfully transmitted!  So I was charged $169 for calling them because of their software problem which has no way around.   They didn't fix the problem (so others will also experience my nightmare).  and then transmitted a return that they admit should be fixed before transmitting it.    I DO NOT RECOMMEND TurboTax to anyone reading this post.
