1099 Tax form question for rmd

Lets say I have an (RMD )1099 r for 2024 for 50K ,

i have 1099r for 50k gross distribution,

50k taxable amt ,

taxable amt not checked,

5k in federal tax taken out ,

distribution code 7

ira/sep/simple is checked,

1k taken out for state tax

on my form there is no State distribution amount - TT says in sb 1k or more ???

what should it be based on the above description and info above.

ADDITIONAL INFO - My regular 1099 r for my pension

shows gross distribution of 40k

40K for taxable amount

fed tax 2000

state tax 900

and in state distribution 40K

My wife's 1099r shows the same as mine in ADDITIONAL INFO above just different amounts

I AM THINKING THAT IN MY FIRST EXAMPLE ABOVE, THE STATE DISTRIBUTION SHOULD BE THE SAME AS THE GROSS DISTRIBUTION AMOUNT ??

PLEASE ADVISE !!! THANK YOU !

Yes. You are correct.

The state distribution amount should the same as gross distribution.
