1099-R

My spouse passed away in 2024 and his IRA was dissolved and I was given full amount left into my account. I took taxes out. I received a 1099-R that lists my name and then ABO my spouse's name. Is this considered my IRA/income or do I still list my spouse as ownership?

Yes, this is considered your income for 2024 and you may file jointly if you have not remarried. If you do, I would advise you to change your name to the first name on the return and make your husband as spouse. This will help next year if you do not want to create a new account, otherwise you can leave it as is.
