TurboTax has nothing to do with the stimulus whatsoever. That is totally done by the IRS. The stimulus is actually for the 2020 tax year that has not been filed yet so an "advance payment" is being send not based on the information in the 2019 tax return or 2018 return if 2019 has not been filed yet.
When they receive and process the 2019 tax return the stimulus can be adjusted. Taxpayers that were overpaid will have to pay it back.
Only if your daughter lived with you more than half (more then 183 nights) of 2019 can you claim her on your 2019 tax return. If she lived with both parents 183 nights or more then the parent where she lived the most nights in 2019 can claim her.
