Child support

Can the state take the relief checks that are coming out?

Yes they can, especially if you owe a lot in arrears. I know this because they have been taking my entire tax returns and stimulus payments along with deducting $20.00 a week from my pay checks. I no longer pay current payments but owed $10,978 in back child support for my son whom I have had custody of for 8 months now. Needless to say I've struggled so bad because they are draining my pocket. In a one month span they took $4,000 from me. I still owe $6,157. And mind you I was unaware of child support garnishments because I never received any court papers regarding this matter.
