Can't import brokerage documents from previous year (2022)

I'm trying to import my stock sale information from 2022 from Robinhood (although this issue also affects Fidelity and probably every other brokerage) into TurboTax Deluxe 2022. It says the documents aren't ready yet and will be on February 1, 2024. Last time I checked this was TurboTax 2022 and I'm trying to import 2022 documents, not 2023. Why are these previous files not available and overwritten, especially despite the fact the new ones aren't even available yet, and even if they were.

No, you will not be able to import 2022 data from a financial institution.   You will have to key it all in by hand.  Sorry----they take away the old stuff and only provide the 2023 data, which is usually ready by late January or early to mid-February for import into tax software.

Just making sure---are you using the CD/download for 2022 to prepare your 2022 return?  You cannot use online for a 2022 return.   Online is only for 2023 now--no other year, and you cannot change the year with online.
