I bought a home in 2021. Turbotax asks how much I paid in origination fees. It says underwriting fees don't count as origination fees. But my settlement lists $1136 of origination fees, $596 of which is a document preparation fee, and $540 of which is an underwriting fee. Can I enter the full $1136, or should I only enter the $596? Other threads on this site seem to give conflicting answers about origination fees.
