I’m sure I understand your question. California starts with federal income, so your 1099-NEC is automatically included in California income.
You do not have to make a separate entry to add 1099-NEC income to your California return.
If you are asking whether you have to adjust your 1099-NEC income to make it wages in CA, the answer is No. Self-employment income is not reported differently from wages on your state return. Additionally, a 1099-NEC is non-employee income. It is not wages.
