Self employed

Thank you for responding!

After six rejections, I changed our AGI to zero and it was accepted. If this is the I.R.S.’s way of protecting us from identity theft, we’re all in trouble.

I do not receive stimulus checks. A friend of mine lives in a $600,000 mansion paid for in cash, they have two big IRA accounts and live off their high Social Security checks so they can reinvest most of their required distributions each year. THEY get stimulus checks and she bought a new iPhone with half of their third check. There is something definitely wrong with who receives these checks. My son lived and worked overseas for a corporation earning a big salary. He filed an IRS return each year for a minuscule amount of earnings from a small annuity just for the refund. He just received a stimulus check for himself and his family.  Stimulus money should only be for those PROVEN to be needy. If you can afford to own a $600,000 house outright plus pay an enormous amount for property taxes each year and you are not unemployed and desperate due to COVID, why should you get a stimulus check? [Stepping down off my soapbox.]
