Yes, you are correct, you will have to report this income to the United States. You will have to get an ITIN number, and if you meet the requirements for residency, you will need to file form 1040.
- Regarding the ITIN application, you will have to file a form W7 and send it with your tax return. You will have to attach some documentation with the application, for each of the people that are applying for an ITIN. You will have to mail your return, along with the application and your documents. - For reporting the income, you are correct, you will need to complete a Schedule C to report your self-employment income and expenses. Make sure that you report not only your income but also the expenses you had so you can deduct them from your total sales.
