After you walk through the Business Set-Up, you will come to a screen that says Your Business.
- Scroll down to Business Expenses
- Select start next to Other Common Business Expenses.
- Here you will select start next to Insurance Payments. You will include the premiums you paid this year as well as the repayment made in 2024.
This will put it above the line as a Self-Employed HI deduction. Remember, your premiums are limited to your Self-Employed income, meaning you cannot create a business loss from paying health insurance premiums, but you can bring your income down to $0.
