It is possible. If it is saying your son does not qualify for the child tax credit, then go back to the personal info section and double check the answers to the question. There is one question that asks if he paid more than half of his own support, be sure you answered NO (assuming he did not). Also, make sure you entered his SSN correctly and did not check the box that says not valid for employment.
