It depends. The other income steps will be shown for you below. 

 

If you need to pay half of the self employment tax because this was from your employer, then the employer reported it incorrectly.  You can choose to use the Substitute W-2 to report both the income and your share of social security and medicare tax.  Your return would need to be mailed.

 

Other Miscellaneous Income:

  1. Go to the Wages and Income  section of TurboTax
  2. Scroll to  Less Common Income > Select  Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
  3. Select Other reportable Income > Enter a description (----) and the amount
