When I finally got to talk to someone at the IRS they told me someone had claimed me as their dependent. Not true, I am not anyone's dependent. Also, when I tried to file my taxes with you last year I was told that I had already filed them - NOT! I receive Social Security only. Was told I didn't really need to file. I received a grand total of $13,512 last year (2020). I own my home. I really could use that stimulus check. Would help a lot. The IRS said I could claim the back stimulus on this years 1040SB form. But don't see where I can add it. Can you please help me.
Thank you,

Just complete and file the 2020 federal tax return.
The stimulus questions are asked in the Federal Review section of the TurboTax program. Any payment you were eligible to receive based on the 2020 Federal tax return but did not receive will be entered on the Federal tax return, Form 1040 Line 30 as a tax credit. The credit is included in the federal tax refund or it will reduce the amount of federal taxes owed.
