Don't know the final answer.....BUT...Another place you might need to check.
Go back to the Federal section and EDIT that W-2 form.
On the page AFTER the main form with all it's boxes...is a page full of checkboxes. In the middle of all those checkboxes is one where you indicate that the W-2 for your Military service. That must be checked. Then continue out to the main menu, before going back to the IL Q&A.
