There should be a telephone number on that letter that you can call. The IRS has seemingly attributed some income to you that you believe is not yours. It's entirely possible that something got entered in the system with an incorrect social security number. It's also possible that the letters were sent out in error.Make sure you only call the number on the letter because those are specially trained agents and can help you. I've always found them to be very pleasant and very helpful.
