Retirement tax questions

Every 401k plan's RMD is considered separately.

So your other 401k plans RMD's will be dealt with individually....and removed individually

Your current employer's 401k plan may allow you to not take an RMD for any year you continue to work for them, but you really need to talk to that employer's 401k administrator to clarify their age/distribution rules.

This is a contrast to RMD rules for IRAs, where all of your IRA accounts must be considered together as one giant lot to determine what total must be removed.....and then the total RMD can be removed form any account, or all accounts.
