Retirement tax questions
Again---if your income is that low and is mostly from Social Security then you do not have to file a tax return. There is nothing you have to do to "get exempt." But if you just really want to file anyhow, then use this alternate software version that will be free. You will need to use a different account and user ID.

If you do not have your 2017 AGI then you can print, sign and mail your 2018 return instead of e-filing it. We have no ability from the Answer Xchange to access your 2017 return or find your 2017 AGI for you.
