Retirement tax questions
You can go to How do I connect with a tax expert in TurboTax Experts?
This may help:
To enter a 1099 composite in TurboTax, break down the document and enter each section (1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B) individually in the Wages & Income section, or import them directly from your broker. If your composite 1099 provides summary totals (e.g., total short-term transactions), you can enter these totals rather than listing every single transaction- you will have to send a copy of the individual transactions to the IRS.
