Retirement tax questions

To enter your SSA-1099 select the following:

  1. Federal
  2. Income
  3. Retirement
  4. Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)

Note, if you only have social security income, then it is likely you do not need to file a tax return.  Social security is only taxable if your combined income is over $25,000.  This means if you have no other income, and your SS is less than $50,000, you would not need to file a return.
