Retirement tax questions
No one knows for sure.
EVERY YEAR, any of the software issued before January is essentially beta stuff that many of us won't touch until sometime in January. Certainly, some of the sections may become useful by mid-December, but they don't really tell us when that happens.

BUT
For testing, You are far better off using the prior year (2024 ) desktop software.....using the "What-IF" worksheet.
In the 2024 desktop software's What-If worksheet, You transfer your 2024 data into a 2025 column on that worksheet, then change whatever numbers you expect to be different in the 2025 column.....and try various new IRA distribution numbers in the retirement income area
