Retirement tax questions
Not if it is correct. It could be that the payor did not withhold enough taxes from your retirement pay or distribution, but if this is the case, then you may end up owing when you file your taxes.
If the payor did withhold more than $34, then you would need to contact them to get a correct your 1099-R.
