The 1099R RMD questions were fixed on Feb 20, 2025! If you are using the Desktop program be sure to update your program. Go back though and revisit your 1099R entries.
For a first year RMD say you took all the RMD for 2024 since it’s not due until April 1 of the next year. Don’t forget you will also need to take the next year's RMD by Dec 31. So you will need to take 2 RMD in 2025.
