Alternatively, if you purchased the 2021 program as a download from Intuit, you could log into your account and look in the purchases and downloads section to see if you can still download the installer. If you can, first uninstall the 2021 program using the windows uninstaller, then install the fresh download. (The download should be the most recent version and not require additional updates.)
Or, Turbotax sometimes makes an "amend only" version available to install on your computer. It might be accessible from these instructions or you might have to call support. You can uninstall the full program then install the amend-only program.
