If MAC desktop software, there have been a ton of problems with MAC software this early in the prep season,  that need to get fixed.   Call Customer support and get the problem logged:

If on a Windows desktop system? When you start up TTX, try rt-clicking on the TTX icon and select "Run as Administrator"
