What do you mean by "not getting credit for my Social Security for that year?" Did you receive a W-2? Did you enter the amounts of all of the boxes from the W-2? You do not get a refund for the amount of Social Security that was withheld.
Or do you mean you received Social Security benefits and did not enter that income? If you have SS and other income, all of your income including the SS is supposed to be entered.
Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
Or---do you mean something else? Your post is puzzling.
