Retirement tax questions

If your highschooler had any OTHER income----from an after school job, etc. then the SSA1099 must be on his tax return with his W-2 income or self-employment income, etc.       If he had no other income except for the SS, he does not file a tax return.

 

His SS does not ever go on YOUR tax return.
