Yes you can key in your 1099R. The screen will offer you the choice to import the data or you can choose "I will enter it myself"---make that choice and carefully enter your 1099R by hand.
To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
