In January you will receive a SSA1099 from Social Security. Just enter the amount as shown on the document. You will be entering box 5. You will not enter anything about your SS being garnished.
Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
