Retirement tax questions
If it's a plain old 1099-R, the online software provides it.
IF it's a CSA- or CSF-1099-R in the Online software, then you might need a proper Federally-taxable value calculated on the form for box 2a

I tried a CSA-1099-R with box 2a empty....and as long as I said the entire amount was taxable on a follow-up page...NC used box 1 for the NC Bailey subtraction
But....if box 2a is empty, and you go thru the General or simplified method to calculate box 2a, I'm not sure how that works because I've never dealt with that.
