Maybe. If you pay for over half her support and she does not have any OTHER income over $4300. The Social Security income does not count but if she has other income like a pension, investment income, rental income, etc. that "counts". If she does not, then you can claim her as a qualified relative and you get the $500 credit for other dependents.
