No, if those were your only sources of income and no federal taxes were withheld, you would not be required to file a federal return. Some government agencies or banks may request a federal tax return in order to qualify for benefits or loans, but you would not be required to based on your gross income. Your state requirement may vary, but it is unlikely you would have a state filing requirement either.
