Enter what you actually received as a third stimulus payment in TurboTax. TurboTax will show you what you should have received.
You will get the difference as a Recovery Rebate Credit as part of your 2021 refund.
To get to the stimulus section in TurboTax online:
- Type "stimulus" in Search in the upper right
- Click "Jump to stimulus"
- TurboTax will ask whether the amount you are eligible for matches what you got.
- If it doesn't, say NO
- TurboTax will let you enter the actual amount
If you don’t know how much stimulus you received, click Get My Payment
