I received a 1099-NEC for a legal settlement from prior employer. Tried to enter all info in TurboTax and kept getting a "missing info!" error message, but not true.

Seems like this may be TTx program bug re 1099-NEC. I tried entering same info as if received on 1099-MISC and it works fine. TTx keeps deleting the info when it shoots out the error message. Will file as if 1099-MISC if there is no other fix.
