If you receive Social Security benefits then you should have automatically received the stimulus checks.There have been three. The first one was in 2020 for $1200 for adults and $500 for their dependent children under the age of 17. The 2nd one was in either late 2020 or for some people early 2021 and it was $600 for adults and $600 for their dependent children under the age of 17. The 3rd one was issued by the IRS in 2021 and it was for $1400 for adults and $1400 for any dependents that they claimed.
If you did not receive the 1st and/or 2nd checks you need to file a 2020 tax return and use the recovery rebate credit to get the stimulus money. If you did not receive the 3rd one you need to file a return for 2021 and use the recovery rebate credit to get that one as part of a refund for 2021.
If someone else could claim you as a dependent then you are not eligible to receive the stimulus checks.
