No, you don't.  But you need to keep all copies of those in a folder .  

Sometimes the IRS or state may ask to see copies at a later date if they have trouble matching up your filed data to what they receive from the issuers of those forms.  But, IF ...if it ever happens, that usually doesn't happen until many months later> Such a request would be made by mail...never email and never over the phone.
