Retirement tax questions

I would distinguish that some.

1)...if you attempt to use the Online software, and have an investments in Stocks/Bonds/Mutual funds that are outside of your retirement account, then you will likely have to use Online Premier

2) if you use the Desktop software instead, (which is highly recommended), then the Deluxe software will work fine for most purposes.

Remember that every tax year's software is different, so the 2015 software cannot be updated to do 2016 taxes.   and the 2016 software won't be issued until Nov/Dec of 2016...and even then requires a considerable number of updates thru the first couple months of 2017.
