Yes, you can use the TurboTax desktop Deluxe edition for capital loss carry forward and to report self employment income and expenses.
All the desktop editions have the same forms, schedules and worksheets. You receive more help and guidance as you move to the higher priced desktop editions.
You may get a recommendation to upgrade to the Premier or Home & Business edition, but those recommendations only and are not required.
