To enter information for depreciation on a rental property:
- Log in to your return
- Click on Federal Taxes
- Click on Wages and Income
- Click the button beside your rental property
- Continue through screens
- When you get to the Rental and Royalty Summary, click Edit
beside your rental property.
- You will see the Rental Summary for your rental
property.
- In the Assets/Depreciation section, click the button (See Screenshot below)
- TurboTax will lead you through the entry process.
