You will enter this in the section for the 1099-B the same as if you had one, but when you get to the sales section title, you will select long term basis did not receive 1099-B.
To do this you will select the following:
- Federal
- Income
- Show More next to Investment Income
- Start next to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B)
- Walk through the steps of entering a 1099-B with the information you do have.
- Select long term basis did not receive form 1099-B under sales section title.
