Failed Validation - my turbotax deluxe is up to date but it still asks for an update

FAILED_VALIDATION.  There is an update available for your version of TurboTax.  Before you can file electronically, you'll need to get this update.  To do this, go to the Online menu and select Check for Updates.

Purchased Turbotax 2024 Deluxe from Costco. My state is California.

Finished all steps but failed to transmit results to e-file. Error said my software is not the latest version and asked to check for updates in Online menu.

Did that - checker said no update available because I'm on the latest version.

Searched some forum and did the following: uninstalling all previous versions from "Add or Remove Programs" including 2024 Deluxe; delete all folders of previous versions in C://Program Files; reinstalling 2024 Deluxe; installed the "superpatch" also called a "manual update" from https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/update-products/manually-update-turbotax...

In my update history, there is also a patch for California.

Completely ran out of solutions.
